Do not use this service!
1. HUGELY expensive, as in $30-75 per shipment. They advertised carriers ARE NOT OFFERED, only Fedex and only expedited.
2. They took 3 weeks to consolidate and ship my packages. During this time I had to keep contacting them asking "Whats the hold up" as they are not pro-active in their services and require constant hand-holding.
3. They have now lost two packages which they checked in, but cannot find. I now have to wait 30 MORE days (in addition to the previous 30) for their "if we dont find it we will reimburse it) policy to kick in.
4. THEY ARE RUDE AS ***.

been a happy customer for two years and my last parcel was lost = stolen from their warehouse. since then i have read many reviews saying parcels are lost from their warehouse recently.
No explanation provided or apologies, they only compensated part of the parcel using the 'terms and conditions' they wrote.

I would rather ship my items using a more expensive company than this one. The first shipment was not a bad experience, but nothing impressive either.
The second one had me fuming.
I have two names, a foreign name and an english name. When the name on the second shipment didnt match the account name, they wanted me to provide id. I had no id that had an english name, and they stubbornly refused shipment, even though the postal address is the same.
I am against fraud, but i am genuine and these people treat me like a crook. Their security measures are over the top by asking for super sensitive information. No other shipping company have security control this stringent. Even the name on the credit card needs to be the same so you cant borrow your friends.
I rang the company, being charged overseas rates, only to be connected to rude staff, i couldnt get hold of their manager and i was hung up on.
Go to their facebook page, and you will see photos of staff working as if its like a party. So very unprofessional.
I would recommend using the company comgateway for your shipping. They have low rates, their customer service is professional, its fast, and it has none of that verification rubbish.
Shipto is getting bad FAST!
I use to use shipto often with good results. Pricey but ok.
Recently they have started adding all sorts of little fees. New fees that never before were charged. bank fees, all sort of processing fees on top of the price they quote. So when you see them say check your price on their calculator, make sure to add a few more percent. sometimes quite a few more. I am not talking about the optional extras that are mostly a waste of time. For instance I asked them for a few dollars to add some bubble wrap. They put 10"x10" piece in on top of the box. so don't bother with these.
Also very recently they have started to loose deliveries to their warehouse until you log an investigation with them with al the tracking saying when it was delivered and the like. Its like 1/2 of the boxes that get delivered to them get thrown in to the bin until you log an investigation. (Which you must within 10 days or they "keep/re-sell your stuff")
This company is going down hill, it feels like they are exit scamming or something. I hope they lift their game... but its a long way to lift from here.
Just look around for recent reviews online. all the positive stuff from a few years back and now all of a sudden everyone is negative. I wonder why?
Lost too many times

This is my first experience with shipito. I registered, sent them a parcel, sent the money from my PayPal account and uploaded a photo of my passport.
And my account was blocked. Versed for a whole week. It turned out that five years ago I transferred money to account of my friend from my PayPal account. Why not?
No you can't. Well, let me pay with card. No you can't. You have to merge accounts with your friend.
How is it possible to merge the accounts of different people? Ok, yes, you can't, then delete the account of you friend. How do I delete the account of another person? It's your problem, solve.
I replied that it is their client and that they should resolve such issues. They offered to verify both accounts to 100%. I opened a dispute on PayPal. They offered to verify only my account to 100%.
It is not possible because I don't have so much documents. In the end, offered me, in a dispute PayPal (directly just a waste of time) to return the parcel to the sender at my expense. This is not a customer - oriented service. They violated the terms of a public offer in my case, because PayPal account is not a verification parameter.
They did not try to find the way to solve the issue acceptable for me. I suffered through their fault material loss.
They did not apologize. I would not recommend this service.

Why I am leaving Shipito today
Hello, until recently, I was a happy Shipito customer. But Shipito has upset me big size, and I'm leaving for the competition. Let me tell you why, for your records.
I had bought two musket replicas from the 17th century from a company name "4G company", perfectly fit for export to my country. These are older than 1898 replicas and non functional.
The package was blocked by Shipito. First, Shipito explained that it was due to US regulations on Customs, the Department of Commerce and Itar. Thinking there was a confusion with actual arms, I replied.
Then Shipito said it was in fact due to internal company rules. What ? Are we nuts ? Company rules forbidding the export of 18th century replicas ? OK. After coming to a standstill with Shipito, I planned to send the rifles
to a friend in the US, who was moving from the US to Switzerland soon. No way ! The muskets could only be sent back to the seller ? What ? Why ? OK. I emailed to the seller, who told me he was sending such items to
Europe regularly, that there was no problem. So I have sent them back. An extra 80$ to send them to the seller and then to me.
So I have lost time and money with non cooperative Shipito personnel, for no good reason at all except *** company rules. Nobody lifted a finger to try and solve the matter in a good way. If there was a doubt about my package,
it was easy to suggest to open and check the package. Was it suggested ? No. Shipito forced me to send the package back to the seller. Why ? This is not correct.
Shipito acted like a blind and *** administration and not like a customer-oriented business.
Now I start to understand the comments I read about bad customer support fro Shipito on the users forums. And then my conclusion : bye bye and good luck.

SCAM with capital words
Lost a little shipment 1 year ago, that costed me 180 dollars. I let that one slip thinking it would not happen again..... Fatal error!
This time, not only package not arrived to my adress. It was sent back to shipito warehouse. They did not notice me so my package was sitting there for several weeks! Ok then, i proceed to fill a claim asking for a reimburse, and guess what???? They charged my account with 90 dollars under the pretext of ship back *fee*, hahaha.... ridiculous!!!!
Not only such fee does not exist, as they didnt bother to RIP ME OFF till i asked for a reimburse!!!
Summarizing: i've lost 180 dollars then and 230 dollars now, 410 dollars!
They hide behind their user policy which you have to adhere to, and blame you for everything! is full of hidden and ridiculous fees also, you end up paying 20 to 40% just in *** fee's processing, whatever you mention it!
But im not yet done, when theyve extorted you, bullied you out of your products and money, they will put it on sale in their webpage. they are worse than gypsis!!
Work ethics and respect for customer is non-existent, rude and almost nule mail-back customer service. Shady, really shady company.

Got a pair of ski boots sent from a ski shop to Shipito. Based on all the poor reviews there were one or two good ones so i thought i might take a chance. Was easy to set up, box was sent to Shipito warehouse, and they took a photo and gave me options for shipping. They sent the box to Australia and i received it ok.
A week late i decided to get a ski jacket and ski pants and get it sent to Shipito Warehouse once again. They received it, and then it all started to go downhill.
First they wanted my credit card details, (I used Paypal the first time), then the credit card had to be verified, which they charged my account, then they wanted a copy of my PASSPORT, a copy of my DRIVERS LICENCE, a UTILITY BILL, all my credit card details and paypal details
They still have my package.
Just a complete rip off and waste of time.

Big time scammers. Never had a problem with my first test ship.
Second shipment was bigger and more expensive. They put my account on hold after I use paypal to fund the account as my paypal account name differ slightly. Never had this issue with the first shipment. Anyway they lifted the hold after I explain why it is different.
Happen again when I need to put in more money. Was assured by their staff that it is not an issue. They lifted my pending again. But when the time came to shipping the items, they flat out refused to send out the package.
Gave them passport and drivers license copies and sign their forms to try to sort out this issue and call all them countless times but to no avail. Told them their staff had previously send me emails saying the name will not be an issue. Bloody ***, they lift the pending not once but twice. That's the reason I kept funding the account.
If I had a whiff of trouble ahead, I would have redirected my shipment pronto. Phone call alone to sort out this issue with shipito cost me 30 bucks. At the end I had to get the seller to pick up the item. But that is not the worst.
Worst thing is, they charge me 8.50 for each package that they hand back to the seller. Ridiculous. The fault did not even begin with me when it is their staff that had been giving out incorrent information from the start. They should have left the account on pending if it was such a big issue.
I would have stop funding immediately and redirected my stuff somewhere else. But oh no, they waited till everything is at their warehouse and you are at their mercy. They apologies a lot but still would not bulge an inch. I do not expect much but at least an offer not to charge the 8.50.
It's bad enough not to receive the product you paid for but to be charged the return fees is downright disgusting. So at the end of the day, 80+ bucks in my shipito account got sucked up by the return fees and the initial processing fee and repacking fee. So thinking of using shipito for your shipment, well u better think twice.
I rather deal with a shipper with more integrity than this. So shipito - not only have you lost a customer but this customer is so unhappy about your utter contempt of him that he wrote a review about it and will try his best to spread it out everywhere.

i am french, and i have the same problem....not possible to have my 3 packages....i write eceruy days to shipito customer service..and they are not polite and don t help me.....don t use shipito !
